I got to Manhattan about 9:20 and had to stand all the way with about thirty more people so it wasn't a very pleasant ride.

Well honey I was in luck when I got there though. I called up Joe Smerchek and asked if the house next door was occupied where I stayed last time. She said she didn't think so but would phone her up. She did just that and the lady said for me to come up and take over and say I got two pillow so if you get lonesome come up and see me dearest.

I shall get this in the mail in the morning. Do let me know what you find out about the armature MZ2089 Model 37 Willis. Might check Hawthorne on E6 and Southwick on W. 10th when you are in town if you have the time. Also see if they carry cranks.

Dearest if you don't have the time just let it go and I'll do my best when I get back and please my darling don't worry for it will all come out okay.

Say Honey send me the name of the agent at Kinsley as I'm supposed to write him. The letter is [in] my letter case. I do hope your folks are not put out with me but I never knew you asked them to go look for that. I just thought since we didn't go this am we'd forget it. Honey if we can possibly do things let's try and do them huh and then well we won't get into jams for I believe we can at least try I like to try darling. I don't like my folks [to] start doing my work or I don't like to ask your folks if I can possibly do it. It really did upset me darling. They went to a lot of unnecessary trouble and made me look like a heel. Darling look on the bright side a little for it could be a lot worse and lot of people have it. Things can't be perfect all the time and darling please don't be angry with me. So my dearest I must kiss you goodnite and I sure do miss you like everything already and the week has not even started. Hoping to hear from you and see you real soon.

One whole day is gone. I hope to be home about noon Sat to take care of everything and help pack.

Irene is going to school but I just talked to her on the phone today. I hope to see her some time during the week. She is going home this [week] and she likes school.

That agent had a small home out there in Johnson and Joe's wife said it is quite nice.

So if we can get it I suppose we better try and buy it. 2 bed rooms, kitchen and dinning and living room combined.

Well darling that's about all I can think of shall take it down to Aggieville and hope you get it tomorrow.
