My dear Hubby,

Oh darling I just got a call from Mother, she says 3 letters from you 2 Free and 1 Air Mail all mailed the 4th. The postmark is the 4th. Oh darling I can hardly wait to arrive home to read them and find out the news. There must be something of interest- not having heard I drew the conclusion you must be on your way some place, but maybe not.

I was out to your home last evening. Gee! I had a nice time your mother is so nice- you know it makes a fellow get icky feel to see you even much more after being with his folks, I can't help it, but I think if and when you say come I sure will stick like glue near you ha! ha! You understand. I can't see how a few of there wife remain someplace else when they could be with their husband. I never realize I could feel so close to you, even though we have been together so little. It thrilled me with joy to realize I have such a wonderful husband that I shall always have a chance to make happy all my life.

Sweetheart- I don't know how you feel about reading your letters to your folks or mine, but I have read the newsy parts of your letters to your folks giving them idea of what changes of moving, etc. I feel it helps you by letting them know, I feel it makes them happier too.

Maybe it's cause I find myself doing things that my mother wishes her daughter-in-laws would do for her and since you haven't had time to write them and I can be helpful to pass the newsy information on; not our own personal feelings however. Because if I felt if ones letters are passed on to someone else to read One would become very careful just what they write. I guess One rambled on and said nothing. But many things I feel I don't know just how you feel about things after all its pretty nice to do them the way you like to do. Isn't it. Not just my way.

It's almost time to go home. Am dropping this in the box on the way home. I am planning on remaining home and go[ing] to bed early since I must work tomorrow- Sunday. Will send this just straight not air mail. Let's see what goes the fastest. Here I got yours just the same if mother looking at the stamp right.

If it doesn't go any faster Air Mail, it's fastest to use it- how about it.

Oceans of love sweetheart. I will write tomorrow and thank-you notes too.
