Darling
Hope this reaches you before you leave home. I received your very sweet letter of the 9th and one dated the 6th. Gee my dearest I'm sure glad you got to see a doctor. My love I guess I was rather scared that first evening also. I don't want to hurt you in any way for I love you so. I want you to enjoy everything to the same extent as I do and if we understand one another I believe that can be accomplished. Oh! Honey you certainly are a dear and so understanding.
I'll be looking for the telegram as to the day you'll arrive. I'll have to let the land lady know. Gosh! It won't be long any more.
It has been snowing some more. Yes. We might go skiing one of these days as they say it is a lot of fun. Gosh I can't hardly wait till you get here. I have been writing this in a very big hurry as lights are due out in a very short while.
I've been working in surgery all day again but the Sgt told me today he is going to try to get me to work for him which would tickle me pink as I wouldn't have to be at work till 8 AM.
I got your letter today saying you got the money okay. No I won't need the bank book. I should have my coveralls from home but I'll write for them. I'll need some pajamas (med) if you see some will you get them darling. I just kept enough cash to barely get by as I don't like to have very much money on me when I move around.
I'm certainly hoping you'll be able to get on Civil Service when you get here. Some of the help from Nashville arrived today but they'll need some more at least thats what they said down there. The working conditions on the post should be excellent if you can get on as everything is permanent and steam heated.
Yes there is a certain train one must [take] as there are only a limited number of trains from Albany up here. It takes about five hours. You can take a cab for a quarter to the house from the station.
Gee! Those salt and pepper shakers certainly must be ever so nice. I do hope it isn't too awfully long before we can use them. Gee! Kathleen I seem to just ramble along and not say a lot but gee I'm certainly thinking darling.
Honey I could just hug you to death my dear if I had you, how ever it won't be much longer. I imagine we'll be able to keep one another warm as the room is very nice and warm and cozy. I do love you ever so much my love and always shall do my best to keep you happy.
We can change your middle initial on that allotment when we change the address latter this month. We talked of putting that money in a savings account. I agree we should keep things uniform and then there won't be any confusion later on. As soon as they get set up here I'll have to change my Insurance also.
Honey we'll get some good pictures made one of these days when we have a little time. Of course we want to see as much country as possible in this neck of the woods as possible as I don't intend to come back even though I think it will be ever so nice this summer.
I do hope you can find a place for those "undies" of mine as I'll be wearing them no doubt. I suppose I forgot to get that one roll of film so I suppose you got all there was.
Dearest I hope I've thought of everything and answered all your questions. Honey I'm certainly looking forward toward next Wed. I hope and do hope this reaches you. Oh! It is wonderful in fact it is almost hard to believe at times for it is so perfect. Yes, I feel so lucky to have a partner like you. Darling I hope you understand how I feel about the sex angle. I'm just human I guess along that line and we want to work with one another to get the same enjoyments from it for they can be bad according to good authority. It is something we'll have to develop so to speak. I have the urge but I didn't know how to go at it. It is part of Married life which can help to enrich our lives a whole lot if we satisfy one another. Oh! There I go again but I want you to know I think the world of you in fact it seems like you were made for me. Yes, Kathleen it is just the beginning and what a wonderful one it has been. Now pleasant dreams and sweet ones too till we see one another.
Loads of love and kisses
Your loving husband
Milan
