My dearest Kathleen,

Honey I don't quite know how to write you but gee darling I love you so much.

My train got into St. Louis late this morning so I'll be late in getting back but I got a late slip from the passenger agent which will explain everything. I will leave here at 2:10 PM and get to Nashville at twelve-thirty tonite. So darling if and when you come down make sure you get the Missouri Pacific "Eagle" out of K.C. for St. Louis as it gives you more time to catch the LN for Nashville at St. Louis.

Honey I'm just bubbling over with joy and certainly hope and pray that we'll be able to settle down for a spell at least in Nashville. Oh! It is just perfect and gee it could have not been better if it had been planned for weeks.

He's hoping we get a lot of useful things at the shower tonite that we'll be able to use. See I do hope we took care of everything before I left.

I certainly hope those pictures turn out okay that we took and as soon as we get together we'll have some good ones made dearest. Even though I slept most of the time last evening I'm still dead tired so I'll certainly have to catch up on some long lost sleep before you get down. I hope Rev. Rogers sent in the Marriage Certificate to the Probate Judge. I'll check with him in Nashville and I'll take him out to "Morkers" for dinner there as I must do something for him as it was wonderful of him to come down and perform the marriage ceremony.
