Dear Kathleen,
Well the election is almost over except the shoutings as I sit here writing you this eve. It is quite cool and the moon is down. I also noticed the beautiful full moon down here the 31st. The paper stated it was a great nite for Torts and Witches.
I'll let you in on a secret Kathleen, I can't hardly wait till I get your next letter. Another week closer to that day that I may depart for home. One of the boys in my ward is leaving this Sat. and he will be back in time to take over the ward when I leave.
Yes I knew Thelma Galliger. I danced with her at the Egyptian when I was home the last time. She was very worried at that time. Gee it certainly is a shame.
I also hope to get a roll of 616 this month if they go that far at the PX. So we should be able to get a few pictures. There isn't any substitute for snapshots as remembrances.
It took about 52 hours to get home last time but I shall do my best to get home a bit faster this time if I can.
I spent Halloween by going to a movie at the base and then I went over to the Service Club where there was a dance going on. It was a regular rat race so I didn't even try dancing.
You know I sure enjoyed that letter even if it was written a bit at a time. I sure got a big kick out of the cartoons in the corner. XXX(Doesn't make censor) Ha! ha!
I have been very busy this past week and when I get home, I mean in the barracks, I just hit the bunk. Tonite I'm about to start quoting election returns. I'll be glad when ti is all over so they can go on with the war.
I went out boating and fishing today again. I caught one trout for a change. I cleaned it and fried it in the ward.
Well Kathleen I guess I must bid you adieu now but I will be thinking of you. So pleasant dreams till I hear from you.
Truly Yours,
Milan
